Andrew Berridge

Personal Trainer

Andrew Berridge has been a personal trainer for over 10 years, and is Head Coach and Co-Owner of CrossFit North Head in Manly, NSW, Australia. He has had the opportunity to learn from exceptional athletes and coaches around the world, and compete himself, in both CrossFit (2 x Individual Athlete and 2 x Team Athlete in the Pacific Region) and Muay Thai (8 x Australian title holder).

This culminates in a depth of knowledge and experience, and unique skills in programming and training design, to form a “BLUEPRINT” to build successful athletes and achieve client goals – whether they are fitness, weight-loss, training beyond injuries or strength and competitive performance.

From a background in Personal Training, Andrew initially created The Blueprint Programming to share his own CrossFit Performance Program after being asked by others about his training, and soon began to provide personalised programs tailored for CrossFit athletes or specific complementary programs for other sports.  Having had the opportunity to travel to many gyms around the world, it was also clear that many gym owners were not programming experts themselves, and he created the Gym Programming stream to support gym owners with structured programming to alleviate the stress in running their businesses.

Finally, The Blueprint Body was created to combine his extensive experience in personal training and exercise programming design with Julia’s passion in nutrition and lifestyle coaching. Having seen other (particularly ‘celebrity’) programs, they knew they could achieve better results and create new sustainable lifestyles, and help people to find their own personal ‘blueprint’.

Julia Higgs

Personal Trainer

Julia Higgs has also been a personal trainer for over 10 years, is also Co-Owner of CrossFit North Head and has competed in CrossFit (2 x Team Athlete in Aust/NZ Regionals).  Julia comes from an endurance-based background having completed several marathons, half marathons and adventure races.  She started CrossFit in 2010 and has successfully competed in multiple Natural Bodybuilding competitions over the last few years as a Figure competitor. Julia specialises in fitness for the female client including weight loss, toning, body composition,  general fitness and event-based goals. She also has a wealth of experience in pre- and post-natal training, having two children herself and has coached countless women to exercise safely during and after pregnancy.

Julia joins the team to coach Clean Eating as part of The Blueprint Body as well as personal training and online coaching (individual exercise programming and diet).  Julia is a CHEK professional and holistic lifestyle coach, and coaches her clients in all aspects of wellness such as lifestyle, nutrition, metabolic typing, hormones and stress to help them achieve optimal health.
